Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving
I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone the happiest of Thanksgivings.  All too often Thanksgiving becomes the day of turkey, pie, pre-black Friday shopping, and football and the point is lost.  Thanksgiving should be a time of celebration for all that we have been given throughout the year.  It should be a time that we remember what the Lord has blessed us with including love, safety, shelter, and the ability to live in a wonderful country where our idea of "poor" is not being able to afford Netflix.  There are so many families who go hungry living off of just a small amount of food.  I would like to challenge you to refresh your eyes this Thanksgiving and to look for the things to be thankful for everyday and look for ways that you can help others.  Jesus provided the greatest example of loving others and was the ultimate model of giving.  He gave the greatest gift- the gift of grace.  I pray this year I can reflect Christ's love for us all.  So, do something good for someone today and everyday.  Go the extra mile.  Live life remembering that you are not alone on this world.
Have a beautifully blessed Thanksgiving!

'Twas the Night Before Disney...

'Twas the Night Before Disney
an inspired post from an excited girl. Please excuse the fact that this doesn't really work out so much and if you hit a snag...just go with it. I gotta pack now!

'Twas the night before Disney
and all through the house
This excited Disney fan was
 ready to see The Mouse.
The suitcases were packed (well sort of)
all stuffed with great care
in hopes that the morning soon would there.
And we were all settled warm and cozy in our beds
As visions of princess and goofy danced in our heads.
Me in my Minnie ears and my friends wearing a pair
I knew, then I knew that Disney fever was in the air
When out of the back room their arose such a clatter
"should we wear jeans or capris...or does it even matter?"
The next day needed to come in a flash
we'd pile in the car and to Orlando we'd dash.
Disney World was waiting we just had to go
The place where we'd celebrate and see Santa ho, ho, ho
Mickey Ice cream and Nemo, Spaceship Earth, Citizens of Hollywood too
We knew we'd see more animals at the kingdom than at any other zoo
More excited than children on Christmas morn'
we knew we'd eat plenty of Disney popcorn
We'd do all the fun rides and ride them once more...
now  Soarin' and Mansion, and the Great Hollywood ride as well
on Kilimanjaro Safari and Test Track, and the Mountains will only tell.
To Epcot we trek and Animal Kingdom too
The Magic Kindgom is a must and Hollywood Studios we'll pursue.
The Osborne Family Lights and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Our holiday will start us off so happy and jolly
To see the castle lit up and Main Streets decked with holly.
Mickey will greet us as we walk right to town
We'll be the best spirits when we make our way 'round.
So Disney trip hurry up and fill us with cheer
Mickey were ready...see ya' when we get near!

I Wish...
I could see has been a long wait!

I can't wait to see Tangled.  I have been ready to see this movie since I first laid eyes on the beautiful sketches and animation ideas at Hollywood Studios a couple of years ago.  So, until November 24th (when I get to see it for FREE because I took advantage of the free ticket offer in Beauty and the Beast Diamond edition) this will have to do!

An Album That's Close to my Park...Heart!

There is nothing like the actual smells, sights, tastes, and sounds of Disney World.  You can't fight that one.  But, I have an album this is near and dear to my park heart that is.  I really love the Four Parks One World, music from the parks album.  I love that this is a 2 disc auditory trip to my favorite place on Earth.  I love that the music is broken down by park (and by land in the Magic Kingdom).  This CD is a great way to bring the parks with you where ever you go.  With everything from Swisskapolka to Beauty and the Bees (from Animal Kingdom's:  It's Tough to be a Bug) this CD is sure to bring a smile to your face and put a little Disney pep in your step!
I have mentioned the album before in another post.  I got mine from the (click on image below to go to their site) Laughing Place Store but you can get them other places too (including inside of parks and on the Disney Store website).  It is currently sold out on the Disney Store website.
So let's talk about the tunes:

I Wish Wednesday...I wish I could eat this right now.

I Wish Wendesday...
I wish I was eating this.  Right now.  If you haven't eaten at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, do yourself a favor and make some reservations asap.  Dinner is served "family style" and you can eat to your fill.  We had a great dinner there this past May and I am looking forward to eating their again in a few days!
It is rather chilly out today (as chilly as it gets in SC in November) and I am wanting comfort food like this.  Everything was delicious!  I really liked it all but the glaze on the ham and the macaroni and cheese is a-flippin-mazing.  I found these pictures (and after salivating for like 20 minutes) I posted them and a link to the sight I got them from.
